From the 27th to the 2nd of next month, Homeplus is hosting the "Customer Appreciation System for Establishment HomePlan Support", the third event of the "HomePlan" to commemorate the 28th anniversary of its foundation. This audit system is the third large-scale discount event following the "Homeplain is Back" held from the 28th of last month to the 12th of this month and the "Encore! Homeplain is Back" held from the 13th to the 26th of this month.

Since 2023, Homeplus has been holding an inaugural event, HomePlan, and an additional discount event, Encore HomePlan. The audit system, which will be held from the 27th, is a discount event that has not been held in previous years.

Homeplus explained, "We prepared the 3rd event with the intention of giving practical rewards to customers who trusted Homeplus during the Homeplus event even in difficult situations."

The industry believes that Homeplus continues to hold discount events to secure cash to pay for commercial bonds. On the 4th, Homeplus announced that it would operate normally while applying for the start of the rehabilitation process. In order for Homeplus, whose credit rating in the market has plummeted, to continue its normal business, it must pay for commercial bonds quickly. According to the company, as of the morning of the 28th, the amount of commercial bonds previously paid was 555 billion won.
