A 49-story high residential complex and concert hall will be built on the site of the "Home Plus Dongdaemun" store, which is about to close.

On the 27th, the Seoul Metropolitan Government held the 5th Urban and Architectural Joint Committee on the 26th and announced that it had decided to revise the 'Yongdu Station Area District Unit Plan Decision'.

The target site (33-1 Yongdu-dong, Dongdaemun-gu) is adjacent to Yongdu Station on Line 2 and Dongdaemun-gu Office. Currently, the entire building is operated as Homeplus Dongdaemun branch.

Under the plan, 408 apartment houses with six basement floors and 49 floors above ground, 500-seat performance halls, and sales facilities will be built here. The skyline was arranged in consideration of the Cheonggyecheon landscape, and it was decided to create an open space such as a front square and a public walking passage.
